The programming Olympics will be held in Bangladesh on November 6
Bangladesh is the host country of the 45th International Collegiate Programming Competition (ICPC) World Finals. The programming competition will be held on November 6 to11, 2022.
A preparatory meeting of the Organizing Committee on the occasion of the 45th ICPC was held on Wednesday (June 22) chaired by the State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak at the meeting room of the Information and Communication Technology Department.
Member of the committee, Senior Secretary of the Department of Information and Communication Technology, Mr. NM Zeaul Alam; BCC Executive Director. Md. Abdul Mannan spoke on the event.
In his speech, the Minister of State for ICT said that the world must be conquered with talent. If you can encourage young people in programming, it won't take long for everything to go digital. There is no alternative to merit in dealing with the fourth industrial revolution, this revolution must be won by using merit.
140 teams from 75 countries and more than 1000 foreign guests are expected to participate in this competition.
The International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) will be used as the main venue for the World Programming Olympics to be held on November 6 to 11, 2022.
